Lionel Messi’s left foot – £3.5m

WE all know Lionel Messi’s left foot is worth its weight in gold — but Roman Abramovich
could snap it up for a bargain basement £3.5million.

While it would cost Abramovich around £216m to prise Messi away from Barcelona, one of the goal machine’s extremities would barely dent the Chelsea owner’s bulging wallet.
But don’t worry, the Argie hitman hasn’t been bundled out of the Nou Camp and pulled apart by Blues staff desperate to clone him.

Instead, Japanese jeweller Ginza Tanaka has
created a pure gold replica of Messi’s priceless foot.
And while it may not be able to put the ball in
the net, it would undoubtedly brighten up any
mantelpiece.

Speaking at the official unveiling, Messi’s
brother Rodrigo said: “It’s exceptional. You can see each line in the foot. It’s an impressive piece of work.”
With part of the proceeds going to charity,
perhaps Abramovich or another cash-happy club owner will dig deep and snap up a unique piece of football memorabilia.

Who knows, it may even turn out to be worth
more than Fernando Torres in a couple of years— and yes, we do mean a WHOLE Fernando Torres.
